A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of Elizabeth Church and Aaron Karp. It was held at The Solarium of the 1918 Scottish-Rite Childrens Hospital in Decatur (www.thesolarium.com). A very happenin joint with great lighting, (except where the bride gets ready, its a curse that follows me everywhere.) Elizabeth’s mother made the dress and tears were all over the place.
After a light rain shower in the afternoon, the Georgia heat bounced back with a vengeance as the mugginess factor was off the scale during the ceremony. But that wasn’t going to slow this party down. The wedding party was ready to get down; and the Jazz Funk band Cadillac Jones fueled the fire that burned in us all that night (www.cadillacjones.com.) If I ever come in possession of a really large sum of money I will probably commission them to follow me everywhere, like my own theme music.
Congrats Aaron and Elizabeth! It was a great pleasure. And thanks to my wife for kicking butt as my faithful assistant once again.
