An Orcas Island wedding in September is hard to beat. The sun gets lower in the sky and the golden foliage really starts to glow. Beautiful day. Beautiful couple. Beautiful place. Beautiful guests.

I really enjoyed documenting this special union of Steph and Michele.  But one of the best parts was the happiness shared with Steph’s daughter, Ava.  I can relate to a blended family and I got to see, firsthand, how special it was to her as well.

New Chapter Weddings planned a flawless day filled with cute details everywhere I looked. Red Rabbit Farm hosted the most picture perfect space and delivered great food and cake. The J Ross Experience took care of makeup while Matt @ Salon Juan tamed the manes. The vintage inspired dress is by BHLDN.
