Matthew + Sara | Port Townsend Wedding | 7.5.2014

What a lovely couple.

While Sara was getting ready at The Bishop Hotel and Izadora Day Spa, Matthew was prepping his boat for sail and pacing about the small cabin waiting for his first look at his bride-to-be. After a tearful ceremony in the Bishop’s courtyard, a delightful reception was held at The Cannery.

For almost two months now, they have been cruising the San Juan Islands by wind. (I’ve run into them three times now.)  Honeymoon gunkholing throughout the entire archipelago, they have spent an entire $4 on gasoline for transportation. Living out the days with such simplicity reminds me of what I saw on their wedding day: two people in love.
