Here’s a beautiful reason to elope in the San Juan Islands.

No distractions, no menus, no bridal party dress fittings, no accommodating that crazy uncle who refuses to sit on anything except a 42″ hardwood stool.  Just love.

Jen and Eric shared a most intimate experience by choosing to unite in marriage at the enchanting Hobbit House on Orcas Island.  Aside from myself and a classical guitarist present, there was also a few family members on Skype from around the world watching in via video to witness the event.  The smell of hot cider on the stove took the edge off a blustery day at this cliffside wooded retreat.  Enjoy the pics.
