So, I’ve taken my school portrait experience (similar to herding cats) and combined it with my experience of being a father (keeping a 5 year old’s attention for a finite amount of time) mixed all together with my skills as a fine art photographer.
The result is Fine Art School Portraits. We don’t say “CHEEZE” we just have fun! This is some faves from my first trial run using my son’s Pre-K class. It many ways it went horribly wrong, but I learned a lot. And I’m excited to take on the rest of the school now. Please comment you thoughts and remember that I’d love to start working with other schools. Since I actually shoot outside using natural light, I can replicate this look anywhere the sun shines!

SherriYou definitely have a way with kids. Love the fact they are not the traditional boxed school portraits. These kids actually have personality!!!!
