Back in 2010, Drew and Ashley asked me to document their wedding. It was a huge success for me and them both, as it was a turning point for me. I felt as though it was the first wedding where I could be relaxed and enjoy the day and still get the shot. All weddings up that point, I would describe as “stressful.” This had alot to do with how laid back the bride and groom were, but also my ability to get the shot. When you know your equipment and what ‘look’ you want to achieve up front; you can relax at the event and tune into the people’s emotions more knowing that you are going to bring home a good image. Weddings, for me, have been fun ever since.
I was excited when they came to me with the idea of a maternity session. How else was I to get these two shy love birds back in front of the camera again? Thanks for the opportunity guys! Ashley, you are still beautiful. And I wish your family many years of laughter and good health.
Ali BennettAnother amazing shoot, Adam. These pictures are beautiful and really capture the magic between my all-grown-up-now baby sister and her husband. We can’t wait to meet Dylan in a few short weeks! So happy you were able to get this “shy couple” back in front of a camera – these will truly be a family treasure.
