The Island Effect | San Juan Islands Fine Art Photography

The light on the island is phenomenal.  I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta.  The “City in the Trees” shields its inhabitants from the gorgeous light found on the fringes of the day.  I used to always crave sunsets when I lived there.  When you live on the water, there’s always this liquid plane that prevents the growth of light absorbing vegetation and energy sucking manlike structures from taking over.  You are left with seeing more of the good stuff each and every day.

Sweet beach house huh?!  I just had to throw that one in.

As the months have gone by, I have started to amass just enough San Juan Islands fine art images for a show.   Now, I just gotta settle on a way to print them.  …and a place to show them.  …and a style of framing.
